The Canine Coach is always on the hunt for experienced dog trainers to join our team. Are you looking to expand your current dog training career? Join our team of professional dog trainers to collaborate, share and expand your current dog training knowledge.


Potential Positions:

Group Class Trainer - CURRENTLY HIRING
Part Time - All facilities - This position is responsible for teaching a variety of group classes, from obedience, to sports and fun classes, to behavior modification classes. The position is primarily evenings and weekends, generally two to three days a week.

Boot Camp Trainer
Full Time - St Louis Park and South Minneapolis facilities - This position is responsible for training dogs in our Boot Camp program. Boot Camp trainers work Monday-Friday during normal working hours.

Group Class & In-Home Trainer
Full Time - All facilities and areas of the Cities - This position is responsible for teaching a variety of group classes, from obedience, to sports and fun classes, to behavior modification classes, as well as traveling to client homes for In Home Behavior sessions. The position is primarily early afternoon, evenings, and weekends, five days a week.

FIT Dogs Trainer
Full Time - NE Minneapolis - This position is responsible for training dogs in our FIT Dogs program. FIT Dog trainers work Monday-Friday during normal working hours.


Requirements:
  • A love of teaching & helping people
  • A love of training dogs
  • A minimum of one year of dog class training experience
  • The ability to work evenings and weekends (does not apply to Boot Camp and FIT Dogs positions)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • A passion for animal behavior and continued learning about all things dogs
